Now you can remove the application credential key from the local server with the use of the new Remove-SPApplicationCredentialKey cmdlet. This cmdlet comes with a higher level of influence. So, it may block or damage the functionality of features such as SMTP authentication or SharePoint People Picker configured to use the application credential key.
